Rebranding a company with more than 50 years of history in it’s industry.

The major task was to shift the company’s identity towards a new era, one that is in tone with it’s ambitions of becoming a leader in the production of metal parts for the automotive industry while retaining the core values of the four families involved in leading the company towards reaching its business goals. Rebranding the company was one of the “unicorn” project I had the chance to work on, challenging but nevertheless rewarding and hitting all the positive points in terms of communication and collaboration with the stakeholders.

My role spanned from leading the creative aspects of the project to directing and managing other parties involved in carrying out project goals such as photography, development and print, which gave me a lot of insights on what kind of challenges such a project can hide.

The logo

1. The inspiration
The idea for the logo stems from the main business focus of Turdeana, the production of parts for automotive seats.

2. Keeping the essence
Removing unnecessary details leaves us with an evocative symbol made up of two parts, that is a stylized representation of a car seat. But having a simplified visual representation of a car seat only tells half the story.

3. The transformation
Multiplying the symbol diagonally transforms it into a graphical element made out of four parts that represents the unity in effort of the four families involved in managing the company towards success.
